What Makes Us Special
The Manawatu Art Collection is a regional treasure. A collection of important New Zealand contemporary artworks carefully collected over the decades, the collection is in the custody and safekeeping of Te Manawa Museum so it can be displayed for the enjoyment of the public of New Zealand.

We are acquiring new Art Works
The Manawatu Art Collection continues to grow and develop as new artworks are added. The Te Manawa Art Society support new and emerging New Zealand artists and those more established artists who may have a connection to Manawatu.
We believe Art is for everyone
The Manawatu Art Collection is accessible to everyone. Whether an art lover, art collector, student, budding artist or simply curious, there is something for everyone. The Collection is available online, or view selected artworks in the Art Gallery at any time.
